Enviable shape! Jessica Alba has clearly been careful to maintain her healthy bikini regime

It's a rare thing for Jessica Alba to make a public appearance and not be the centre of attention.

But the Sin City beauty took a backseat as all eyes fell on her adorable tot Haven.

The mother-of-two was spied clutching her daughter during the family winter vacation in Mexico.

Both girls wore sun hats to block out the sunshine, but the squinting four-month-old looked like she needed a pair of aviators like mummy to protect her from the beaming rays.

Alba covered up her sunkissed body in a patterned sun dress as she held her youngest child in her arms, but had previously teased onlookers with her post-pregnancy body in a bikini.

The30-year-old showed off her slender curves outside her Mexican holiday villa, accompanied by husband Cash Warren, Haven and their eldest daughter Honor, three.

Wearing a floral string bikini, still with her sun hat in place to protect her face, the actress wrapped herself in a towel while Honor played in the sand with some friends.

Considering she gave birth to Haven so recently as August, she was in enviable shape - a testament to her healthy lifestyle.

Though filled out a little compared to previous years, Alba has been keen not to lose the body which won her so much admiration in films Into The Blue, The Fantastic Four and Sin City; all of 2005.

The group have obviously been enjoying their break, with Jessica tweeting a picture of two of the children in the pool, writing: 'Gd times in Cabo'

Jessica and her family have escaped to Mexico after a cosy Christmas spent in Beverly Hills.

It was rather a hectic affair in some respects, with Jessica having some menu-related difficulties the day before.

Credit to her, she was obviously going all out to do as much cooking from scratch as possible- though it proved rather hazardous at times.

She tweeted on Christmas day: 'Ordering food on Xmas Eve is a bit of a challenge - every yr we seem to run into the same problem'

But everything came together on the day, and it appears some guests received a few thematic gifts, as Jessica tweeted on Wednesday 'Our special performance tonight - Ariel x3', attaching a picture of three girls in matching princess outfits.
