Most of us would have been happy with a view of a pretty Christmas tree or even some snow-capped fields during the festivities.
But lucky Edgar Davids was treated with his pretty fiance showing off her curves in a skimpy bikini as they jetted off to warmer climes.
The retired Dutch footballer and Olcay Gulden were snapped relaxing by the pool at a Miami hotel on Christmas Day.

And he couldn't keep his eyes off the stunning fashion designer as she flaunted her enviable figure in a string bikini.
And the fashion designer even got in the festive spirit with the beige and brown two-piece which was held together by Santa red string.
The couple jetted off to the Florida city for the Christmas break and soaked up the glorious sunshine while everyone else was unwrapping presents.
They were joined on their loungers by a young boy, although it was unclear who he was in relation to them.
Edgar, who retired from footballer in 2010 after a brief stint playing for Crystal Palace, is now on the board at Dutch team Ajax.
Last month, he clashed with footballing legend Johan Cruyff, who is also on the board at Ajax, after he said Cruyff refused to apologise over an alleged racist remark.
Cruyff is believed to have told Davids that he was only given the job on the board at the Amsterdam club because of the colour of his skin.
Cruyff did not deny saying this and said: 'Ajax is a multicultural club and we have found that many talented immigrant players quit when they reach puberty.
'So we wanted to tackle this problem with someone from the same background, who had come through it. And that was Edgar Davids. During one of our fights I pointed that out to him. But it had nothing to do with his skin colour.'
Davids accepted Cruyff's explanation but still believes he is owed and apology and told CNN: 'Johan Cruyff made a racist remark but apologise and people will accept it.
'He admitted it, but he didn't apologise. And that's even harder.'
