The bride's dress was designed by her father-in-law.
Lauren met her husband in 2004 when she was an undergraduate at Princeton University studying anthropology and photography.
She is a humanitarian and runs the successful FEED projects in which sales of bags she designed to help fight world hunger.
Lauren has said she has no intention of slowing down following her wedding to Ralph Lauren's son David in September.
She told Vogue: 'Definitely not! I'd be bored. We're so busy: we're a small team, just five, but everyone works so hard and things are going well.
'My aim is to grow the Feed brand, make it more recognisable across the world, and continue to get involved in what we believe in: making great products that help people who really need our help.'
