They might be spending time on the sun-soaked island with a group of close friends.

But as far as Olivia Palermo and her boyfriend Johannes Huebl were concerned, they may as well have been on their own as they only had eyes for each other.

The couple were seen on the beach in St Barts and could barely managed to keep their hands off each other as they indulged in several public displays of affection.

Olivia, 25, who looked stunning in her navy blue bandeau bikini, smooched and got close with her model beau as they soaked up the sun on the beach.

They cuddled and kissed as they sat on big fluffy towels on the gorgeous white sand, seemingly oblivious to everyone around them.

Johannes gently rubbed suncream all over Olivia's already-tanned figure as they larked about with the bottle.

Olivia winced as Johannes sprayed her with the suncream but seemed in much better spirits once her boyfriend took a hands-on approach.

And as they stood to stretch their legs, their lips locked again as they shared a kiss by the umbrella before lying back on their towels, with Olivia's arm wrapped round her man.

The couple, who have been dating for three years, then cooled off with a dip in the sea.

The former star of The City stayed in shallow water while Johannes played in the waves but it wasn't long before he was back in Olivia's arms.

Johannes wore bright blue swimming trunks, a navy blue baseball cap and some sunglasses.

And he clearly couldn't resist his girlfriend's beach body as he held her close and kissed her repeatedly behind a rainbow-coloured sun umbrella.

The pair have barely been able to take their hands off each other during their stay in sunny St Barts, a hotspot for the rich and famous.

They have spent the New Year holiday together on the luxurious tropical island.

Before they headed home, Olivia covered up with a bright floral kaftan covered in flowers.

She even helped her boyfriend take down their huge umbrella and pack it away.

The former reality star has become something of a businesswoman in recent years.

She launched her own jewellery range in 2010 after establishing herself as a style icon.

She has also appeared as a guest judge on the last season of Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model.

Olivia is herself signed to leading model management agency Wilhelmina Models.
